About SMAG

The Sarasota Meditation and Art Gallery was established to provide support in the discovery of one’s innate goodness and wisdom. This discovery creates intelligent and skillful actions that further benefit all who interact with us: family, friends, community and world. It provides the impetus to appreciate the world we live in, and help create harmony and happiness.

Once one realizes and experiences one’s own true nature, we develop bravery and courage that allows us to discover self-confidence, to be who we want to be, and to make a better world. This brings inspiration to our world to engage and support others to discover the truth and potential for true compassion and wisdom.

Developing genuineness requires bravery. Bravery to relate to those areas of our life that are clouded in confusion and unhappiness. The importance of skillfulness in the development of bravery cannot be understated. This requires true compassion based on insight and wisdom that is the result of our meditation practice. Please join us in our journey in furthering self-awareness and wisdom for the benefit of all.
